Dear Friends,

A solid, natural foundation is the cornerstone of the Parelli program. Once you have the foundation, you’ll be able to build upon it in any direction or discipline you want. Although Pat and his Mastery Students are expanding into competition to test themselves, the Mastery Program is more about learning Levels 5 and 6 from the perspective of developing horses naturally through the Four Savvys. Although Pat and I know quite a bit about performance, that’s not what we’re focused on. The biggest gap in the horse industry is in the foundation. When we are given performance horses to “fix” or help people at Olympic levels, the problem is ALWAYS in Level 1 or 2 and has to do with rapport, respect, confidence and/or communication.

Dear Friends,

One of the most enjoyable parts of what Pat and I do is being surrounded by dedicated students all over the world. Whether it’s at the Centers, at our events or even watching all those Auditions that are being sent in, the feeling is incredible. To us, dedication is the most powerful tool for success and growth a person can have. It’s easy to give up as soon as you feel uncomfortable, and learning is uncomfortable for a lot of people, but dedication is what keeps people going through the un-fun parts. I don’t think dedication is something you can teach. It’s an attitude, and a person’s attitude is always up to them!
