Parelli Celebration LIVE DVD!

Dear Friends,

Production is moving forward on the UK Celebration LIVE DVD, and I must say, I am excited…and scared! The excitement is for everyone to be able to see the show, even if they weren’t there. I think it was the best of the 2009 Celebrations, and the National Event Center’s “LG Arena” is a phenomenal venue. It is more like a stage than an arena, so it makes such a great setting and seems to really focus attention and amplify emotion. The event was so dramatic and exciting…I can’t wait for that feeling to be available worldwide on DVD.

Some funny moments from the UK

Pat and I had a great time yesterday with the Gold Savvy members at the Summit here in Stoneleigh Park. We continue to be amaze by the enthusiasm and dedication that our Parelli students have. The Summit was a great way to end our week in the UK!

Goyani and the Show!

Well here it is Monday... and the weekend is almost a blur... what a whirlwind!

It was a fantastic Celebration here in Birmingham, UK with over 4,000 Parelli devotees. It was just amazing. Our best event experience ever, I think.  More on that in another blog because first I want to complete my report on Goyani.

Goyani Day 4

Great news. Today it all started coming together. I must say that last night I was having my doubts but as with all things, you have to take the time it takes... and I was determined not to let the pressure of my lesson on Sunday get to me! That would not be fair on the horse.

So this morning Carmen gave me a few words of encouragement, to really take leadership with Goyani... and it went great. Walter was really happy too so I've got one more session with Goyani tomorrow night, after the VIP reception. I'll sleep well tomorrow night!

Day 3 with Goyani

Hmmm, today was a little tough.  Taking the time it takes is a difficult discipline when you know the show is in 2 days!  But under the careful guidance of Walter we are taking the time for Goyani to trust my hands and start to come more over his back as he moves.  It's so hard to keep my hands still and wait for the hindquarters, but it's a good discipline.

Goyani Day 2

Pat spent the morning with our European and UK Instructors (including one from the USA!) sharing his vision and our mission, and fielding questions on the upcoming new levels program DVD sets.

After that, those who had brought horses played with them in the lovely, huge, all-weather arena here at Stoneleigh Park.  The weather was not very nice :(  Cold, windy and rainy, but thankfully not that way all afternoon.

Day 1 with Goyani

Just came in from my first session with Goyani here in cold and stormy England!  Carmen first of all showed me what she has got going with him and it was very, very good.  She's done a super job in developing herself and her horse beyond Level 4 and beginning more focused collection, engagement and dressage maneuvers.  I was very impressed :)

A Change of Plans

Dear Friends,

I had an awful decision to make on the weekend.  Right before needing to ship Remmer and Magic to England for our Celebration there on the 21st and 22nd of November, Remmer came up with a sudden extreme lameness which turned out to be an abscess.

Our Love For Spain

Pat and I love going to Spain – so we cannot wait to visit there on the way to the UK Celebration.  The first time we went to Spain was about six years ago with Dr. Robert Miller and his wife, Debby.  Dr. Miller had been invited to speak to a group near Barcelona and asked Pat if he would like to accompany him and do some demonstrations.  So off we went, we met some wonderful people and got to experience the beauty of Spanish life and country - especially the food!
