Pat Parelli Joins Star-Studded Line-Up Of Judges For Vinceremos “Buck Off” Mechanical Bull Riding Contest
Parelli, who won the Bareback Rookie of the Year title in 1972, will help judge the “Final Buck Off” during the Vinceremos Dinner and Auction at the International Polo Club on February 18th. The “Buck Off” competition will take place during a Vinceremos benefit and auction entitled “My First Pony”.
Vinceremos, located in Loxahatchee near the famed grounds of the Winter Equestrian Festival, uses horses and therapy to enhance the lives of special needs people in Palm Beach County.
Parelli is no stranger to helping riders with disabilities, as he has been instrumental in the life of Para-Equestrian Lauren Barwick, who is paralyzed from the waist down. Barwick, who is a Senior Protégé and mentor in the Parelli Natural Horsemanship’s Mastery Program, won gold and silver medals at the 2008 Paralympic Games in Hong Kong.
Parelli is looking forward to attending the fundraiser and helping to judging the “Final Buck Off” competition. With a dress code of “cowboy chic”, the Parelli’s won’t have any problem blending in. The Parelli’s are strong supporters of many charities and organizations including the most recent event they attended, The 2nd Annual Make-A-Wish Foundation Equine Challenge in Ocala, Florida.
“The work Vinceremos Therapeutic Riding Center does is exceptional, and we are proud to support their fundraiser. We have spent out lives working with horses and know they are great therapists,” said Linda Parelli, adding that she will be joining her husband at the fundraiser. “Pat has rodeo in his roots so of course he is excited about the ‘Buck Off’ and seeing who can last eight seconds.”

The Parelli’s founded Parelli Natural Horsemanship, Inc., with the goal of helping all horse owners achieve success by developing a natural and harmonious relationship with their horse. Their Natural Horsemanship program is based on in-depth equine psychology and common sense communication techniques between horse and rider, which leads to a natural foundation for successful performance.
The Parelli method combines in-depth equine psychology and common sense communication techniques in a proven recipe for horse and rider success. It allows horse owners at all levels of experience (from trail rider to Olympic level Dressage rider) to achieve success without force, partnership without dominance and harmony without coercion. The wider goal is to help create a better world for horses and the people who love them through the non-profit Parelli Foundation.
