Parelli Professionals Join Team at the Humane Society of the United States Animal Care Center!

The Animal Care Centers are delighted to introduce two talented new members on our team.

In her new role as Director of the Doris Day Horse Rescue and Adoption Center Anne Favre will provide critical leadership to this new, ground breaking initiative. Anne brings a unique combination of corporate marketing experience and natural horsemanship skills. A veteran corporate marketer, she has recently founded a successful, entrepreneurial business in Social Media and Relationship Marketing. She is also an accomplished equestrian who champions natural horsemanship principles and has earned her status as a two star Parelli Instructor. She has served as Pat Parelli’s corporate assistant to support him in his realizing his vision – ‘Help Make the World a Better Place for Horses and Humans.

Anne has celebrated her kinship with all animals since childhood. Having loved and rescued a melange of dogs, cats, turtles, frogs, horses, and just about anything living, Anne has left the traditional corporate environment to celebrate her love of animals in general, and horses, specifically.

Jacques Favre joins HSUS as the Foreman of the Cleveland Amory Black Beauty Ranch.

Most recently, Jacques was the Ranch Manager for the Parelli Natural Horsemanship Campus in Pagosa Springs, CO. As a four-star facilities professional, and a two star instructor in natural horsemanship, Jacques brings extensive knowledge of natural approaches to equine and prey animal care and management.

From an early age, Jacques learned respect for animals from his grandfather who relied on their horses to tend their pastures on his small farm in Switzerland. Although involved in traditional equestrian activities as a youth, Jacques was quickly disenchanted with traditional approaches to equestrian training, preferring those that rely on psychology and observation of natural behavior.

Jacques and his wife, Anne have relocated to Murchison Texas with their dog, Lucy, and their four horses, Uriel, Slew, April and their 8-month old colt, Dior.
