Parelli Announces New Level 1 Partnership Program

If there is any “given” in life, it’s that things change.

That’s what’s happened with the new Level 1 Partnership Program developed by Parelli Natural Horsemanship. It’s evolved from good to “five-star excellent.”

“Our former Partnership Program was certainly good,” says world renown natural horseman Pat Parelli, “but over the five years since its initial launch, we’ve learned from thousands of people who have gone through the program about what we did well and what we didn’t do well. This new Level 1 has filled in all those gaps. People will be astounded by how quickly their horsemanship skills will excel with this new format.“

Pat and Linda Parelli have also recognized what people needed above and beyond what was in the first Level 1. “The video tape showed me demonstrating with a finished horse,” says Pat, “and what people needed was to see what to do when they encountered problems or challenges. So we changed that, and so much more. The new Level 1 information leaves no doubts or questions in anyone’s mind.”

“We are in the business of teaching people to teach horses,” adds Linda Parelli. “But we needed to expand our knowledge of how people learn. That’s why we sought the advice of Dr. Stephanie Burns, an innovator in the field of adult learning and learning behavior.”

The presentation is a “connect-the-dots” adventure, leading the student from written material to certain DVDs so the student can visualize the written lesson. And it’s not just watching polished professionals — much of the DVD viewing includes five days of a Level 1 class of people just beginning their Parelli journey.
