Dennis Stars in Parelli Demo at Royal Festival of the Horse

Were you one of the thousands of Parelli Natural Horsemanship fans at the 2008 Parelli Celebration?

If so you will remember the chestnut gelding, Dennis owned by Andy Castle who found himself in the spotlight at the two-day event.

Dennis was used as one of the demonstration horses at the Parelli Celebration after Andy had almost given up hope of ever riding him or progressing his training.

Given to the Parelli team after the celebration, just over a year and a half later, Dennis is now set to star at the Parelli Natural Horsemanship summer extravaganza as part of the Royal Festival of the Horse at Stoneleigh Park, July 9 to 11.

Since his first encounter with Pat Parelli, life has changed dramatically for the charismatic Dennis who spent a year at the UK Parelli Centre at Stoneleigh Park before moving to Wiltshire with Parelli 3-Star Instructor – James Roberts.

The Parelli evening demonstrations at the Royal Festival of the Horse, on the Friday and Saturday, will provide visitors with a fascinating opportunity to catch up with Dennis’ progress and development. Those joining Savvy Club Sunday will also see Dennis and James in action.

Says James: “Dennis has gone from the most challenging horse to the most genuine, honest horse I have ever ridden. He has so much try that my only challenge with him is to maintain that try, keep his confidence growing, and give him the foundation he deserves.

“I am looking forward to bringing him to the Parelli demonstration at the Royal Festival of the Horse so that the thousands of fans at the 2008 Celebration can catch up with Dennis and his development over the last couple of years. It has been and will continue to be a fascinating journey.”

Tickets for Friday and Saturday evening are just £15 giving both Parelli devotees and those new to Natural Horsemanship the chance to learn, be inspired and simply have a great night out.  Savvy Club Sunday tickets are just £25.

Friday & Saturday Daytime: You will be required to purchase a daytime ticket for the Royal Festival of the Horse. (Entry to Parelli Pavilion free, but seating limited to 2000)

Friday & Saturday Evening: Tickets are £15. You will need to purchase a Festival Daytime Ticket to enter the ground before 6pm.
