Dear Friends,

Ever wondered about the process I go through to write all these articles, Mastery Manuals, blog entries, etc.? When I write, I like to sit on my couch, where I’m comfortable. Laptop on my lap, Vinny lying next to me. And I have to have the TV on playing music or the cooking channel. This is my “white noise” that makes sure I’m not distracted by every little sound that I hear out or around the house! I can write for hours and hours like this.

Inspiration is not hard; there is so much I want to share and explain. It is easy to respond to questions and needs, but when it comes to writing an article or a mastery manual, I often carry the thought around in my head for days or even weeks before I try to write. And even then they are not concrete or ordered thoughts, I just focus on the concept or the message in a subconscious way and all of a sudden it comes pouring out of me. I cannot sit down to write without doing that or nothing comes out. Worse still, I write a few lines and edit them to death and then end up deleting it all anyway! So next time you read something I’ve written, you can visualize me as I’m writing it….my dog lying upside down along my leg or snuggled behind my back, the cooking channel blaring away, and all that pent up inspiration pouring out of my fingers onto the keys of my Mac and shedding light on something for you. Smile  It’s one of my favorite things to do.

Yours Naturally,
Linda
