Remmer is back

Hello Friends,

Wow, I can't tell you how much I appreciate all of your well wishes and words of encouragement about Remmer. He is much, much better. He is just a tiny bit tender on hard surfaces, but he's full of energy and fun and whinnies to me every time I come out of the house! I think he missed me and got quite bored not being able to move around for a couple of weeks.

I played with him on Saturday, rode him on Sunday - he was a powerhouse!  Played with him again Tuesday at Liberty and focused on transitions and getting him to collect himself more. In a moment I'll be out riding him again today.  Walter will be here soon, so I need to work on Remmer's fitness without demanding too much of his out-of-condition muscles or his healing foot. It's great to know that you can still do so much slowly, like at the walk! I need to improve my lateral work, and this is wonderful opportunity to practice slow and right.

So, off to the barn I go, I will let you know how it goes!
