Positive, Progressive, and Natural

Pat always says: It takes about two days to learn about Parelli, but a lifetime to master it.  Well, the same could be said for teaching Parelli, and Pat and I (being total learn-a-holics!) are still pursuing mastery when it comes to being the best horsemen and teachers we can be.  I’ve been studying Parelli for 20 years, and I was riveted by every moment of our new Levels programs; Pat becomes a better horseman and a better teacher every day…he absolutely embodies never-ending self-improvement.

What I love about the new Levels DVD series is that it’s the first time we’ve seen Pat presenting all four Levels, and you can absolutely see how much he’s developed the original concepts – not changed them, but improved his teaching of them.  His explanations of what to do and why you should do it are clearer than ever, and Pat does a great job of showing how to make things more interesting along the way.  

Over the years we have continually tried to find ways to help people progress by being more imaginative, more flexible, more in the moment – to think like a horse before thinking like a human.  I know that having the opportunity to watch and listen to Pat for almost 17 hours is going to give our students a much clearer understanding of exactly what that means.  It’s going to help people to not be so direct-line in how they play with their horses, and horses all over the world are going to be grateful for THAT!
