Dear Friends,

Pat and I were sad to leave Vinny behind when we headed off to Fort Worth for the Ray Hunt Memorial last weekend. After the Memorial, we were headed to Pagosa for a week (which is where we are now, of course) and we keep wanting to take him with us when we go there, but I get all practical and think about how we’re involved in meetings all day every day and that I’d have to leave him at home or have the rest of the staff distracted by his antics! Instead I choose to leave him with the team in Florida; they take turns taking care of him and each night he’s with Ann Kiser, Pat’s right hand here at the Center (many of you know her as one of our 3-Star Instructors from Oregon – we kidnapped her!). Ann lives in the apartment attached to our house, so Vinny is ‘home’ with his nanny.

I’m such a sop about this dog. I even put clothes on him – well a jacket anyway – and I’ve never done that before! Katie Drake (Pat’s niece and the artist behind many of our songs, such as Ready for a Change, In Your Shoes, etc.) made a nice warm one for him because it got very cold here in Florida. Not as cold as some places, of course, but Vinny sure thought it was chilly!

Yours Naturally,
Linda
