Dear Friends,
Pat and I spent a good part of last week at our head office in Pagosa Springs. It's so beautiful at this time of year…covered in snow, brilliant sunshine and those gorgeous mountain peaks towering over us. Pat recorded a few more clips to the problem-solving series for our new website and two audio CDs for Silver & Gold members while I worked on the final edit of Mastery Manual 12, among other things. We then recorded our teleseminar, which is always fun. Neil always has provocative questions in store!
We also had a couple of days of leadership meetings on concepts for 2010. There's great things in store for Savvy Club (that I can't tell you about yet!) which are really, REALLY exciting!!!!!
One thing I can tell you about…Pat and I met with the team in Savvy Central so they could update us on ParelliTube – Parelli’s official YouTube channel. Talk about a dream come true! Pat and I have been discussing this concept for YEARS and now here it is. What I love about ParelliTube is that it's going to put so much inspiration and shareable information in one place so you can go there whenever you want to see what others are doing and feel the need for a little 'shot in the arm,' a little motivation! If you haven’t seen it yet, click here to check it out.
We had our end of year Christmas party and staff meeting, which included a talk from Ian Hayward (of Mozilla Firefox fame), the man who conceived of shareparelli.com and is working with us to help change the world for horses and humans. One of the things he said that really hit home was, "No one ever got paid for changing the world." They did it above and beyond what they do every day. And they kept on doing it because that was their goal, to be part of something bigger. He also said that changing the world does not mean world dominance. It takes about 20% of a population – in this case, the horse-owning population – to create change. Once you’ve got that 20% doing their thing and making waves, the rest of the world will notice.
Yours Naturally,
Linda
