WAY MORE THAN THE SAVVY CONFERENCE!
Many of you probably found Parelli because of a problem horse or... you burned out on competition and took yourself in the direction of learning how to become a horseman instead.
Many, like Linda Parelli, never want to go back, but they still love the idea of "performance." Linda has channeled that 'competitive' energy into public demonstrations.
Others have satisfied their desire to perform by doing Spotlights and local demonstrations at horse fairs.
Still others, like our 2009/10 Competition Test Team in Florida and Lauren Barwick (2009 Paralympic Silver and Gold medalist) discovered a natural approach to competition - one that made it fun all the way, impressed other people AND brought home the ribbons!
Isn't it amazing that once you don't care about winning... and you put the horse first... you end up winning anyway? It is obvious to the judges when you have harmony - something not very common in the competition world!
And then there's the Purpose part... can you imagine the results when an entire Mounted Police unit applies Parelli Principles to their purpose? OR a focused and principled racing organization like WinStar applies a more natural approach to training race horses and wins two legs of the Triple Crown in 2010? OR Parelli students start dominating the Ranch Versatility and Cowboy Race events?
This event is like no other we've ever held.
We're going to show you how to enter or reenter the competition arena in a naturally principled way, OR put your passion to a purpose - do a Spotlight OR put on a local demo for a horse event OR just for your friends! Can you imagine being able to show what you've learned in a fun and compelling way?
Even if you are not thinking about doing any of this in the next year or so, can you imagine KNOWING what to do well before you actually want or need to do it?
The 2010 Pinnacle Pagosa Event
THIS is the event of the year in our beautiful summer home nestled in the Rocky Mountains. The Colorado Campus is one of the most beautiful and inspiring places to be when ground-breaking events take place. We sincerely hope you can be here with us to share this world first.
EVENT HIGHLIGHTS
|
Pat Parelli demonstrating competitive cutting with Magic:
|
Magic is now ranked 5th on the Florida Cutting Circuit. Hear her story, listen to how Pat prepared her for something her horrible past and shattered confidence would never have allowed her to be able to do... and then watch her get down and BOOGIE... all the while remembering that this amazing horse is now almost 20 years old!
|
Linda Parelli and Remmer:
|
Linda "does a demo" and talks through the whole thing. Rather than watch and listen to the music, she's going to let you in to her special strategies, music selection and secrets for putting on a blow-your-socks-off demo while having fun and doing exactly what the horse needs in that moment. This is exactly what you'll want to know about if you have plans or dreams for doing a demo in any situation, large or small.
|
The Parelli Competition Test Team
|
Led by Lauren Barwick, shaped by Pat Parelli, you're going to see and hear first hand what they all did to become known and respected as "you're the nice people with those lovely calm horses!" AND bring home a bunch of ribbons! Best of all, they came home with their horse's trust, respect and hearts intact. You'll get to talk to them, ask questions and hear stories in a wonderful 'forum' atmosphere... and at every level, from novice to Olympic!
